I am the change I want to see in others.

I am the change I want to see in others.

Each day I work to offer positive change to others. When I am upbeat and happy, others see the value of that mindset. It’s easy to be happy!

There’s so much to be thankful for and I find joy everywhere I look. As I become more positive, others follow my lead.

To encourage others to change, I show them the value of my own transformation. The more I show them my inner beauty and happiness, the more they want what I have. As I transform myself, others around me want to improve too. Through intentional growth, I can improve the world, one person at a time.

Self-improvement is important to me. As I grow, I see more of the good in others. Every change I make brings me closer to the person I truly want to be. I enjoy finding new ways to do things better. Each day, I focus on being the best “me” I can be. If I have a setback, I regroup and try again because discouragement has no place in my life.

I understand that everyone makes mistakes. I avoid getting frustrated if I fail to do something just right. As long as I am growing, I am happy, even if my changes are small. Seeing my good works affect the lives of others brings me great joy.

Today, I am the positive change I want to see in others.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What can I do to bring more positive change into my life?
2. How can I persuade others to change by becoming more positive?
3. Is there more I can do to bring beneficial growth into the lives of other people?

I am teaching myself a new skill.

Personal growth is important to me because it makes me feel alive. My heart desires adventure and craves excitement. Through personal growth, I keep the explorer in me well entertained while learning more about life and myself.

Finding resources for learning a new skill is easy. These days, with information so readily available on the internet and in books, I am taking advantage of the blessing of knowledge by learning something new.

Regardless of my age or background, I am intelligent enough to teach myself how to perform a new task. I am capable of doing the necessary research to become informed about my new interest.

I am undeterred by mistakes and challenges. These are part of the process of learning. Plus, I know where I can go for help if I run into an issue.

Learning a new skill is an exciting challenge I welcome with open arms. I find out what I am interested in and then train myself to perform something related to what I like. Teaching myself new skills is placing me at an advantage in my work.

The people around me admire my initiative in learning a new skill on my own. While working on my new abilities, I inspire others to follow their dreams by creating opportunities for themselves.

Today, I choose to continue to grow and educate myself beyond what I imagined possible. As a lifelong learner, I figure out what I want to do and then teach myself how to do it. My attitude destroys any barriers that stand between my dreams and me.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What new skill would I like to learn?
2. Where can I get information on learning this skill?
3. How do I feel about embarking on a new adventure?

Deadlines do not scare me

Deadlines do not scare me. I let go of worry and concentrate on getting things done.

I am relaxed when faced with deadlines because I plan ahead and break my task into manageable pieces. I know that procrastination only makes things more difficult for me, so I start on a project as early as I can in order to ease the pressure as the deadline approaches.

I let go of the idea that things will just come together and instead take the time to make solid plans. I decide early if I’m going to need more supplies, more research, or more help. This way I have the time to find just what I need in a relaxed and thoughtful manner.

I organize my steps, dividing the task into pieces that I know I can handle. I am far more productive when I choose to do a little bit every day, than if I save it all for a last minute crunch.

I know when to delegate and have people lined up who can help me if, despite my best efforts, I find myself in a bind near the end of a project. Because I have taken the time to help them when they were the ones in need, I know I will be able to count on them to help me.

I am proactive. By approaching each project with care and thoughtfulness, I am confident that I will be able to reach full completion without undue worry.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Am I proactive or reactive when faced with a deadline?
2. Do I give myself time to deal with unexpected issues that might arise?
3. Have I fostered a team mentality by my own willingness to help others so I can get help when I need it?
