Free of Worry

My Life Is Free Of Worry.

A life filled with worry is a life that is spent in a state of despair. Worrying doesn’t solve anything. It is what my mind does in order to force me to pay attention to what it feels is an issue in my life. Instead of solving anything, I spend my time in frustration. I lose sleep and I lose my ability to focus on what I am doing.

I live a life that is free of worry for the simple reason that when I worry, my level of productivity diminishes. Instead of worrying about the problem, I figure out what I can do about it. I write out actual physical steps I can take to solve the problem. I then act on those steps. Soon, the problem goes away, and the anxiety goes away with it.

While I’m working on fixing the problem, the worries are gone. My mind is content that I am solving the issue. After the issue is solved, my mind is content because the issue is gone. I am then free to devote all my mental energies on any problem I wish to solve and be free from the pain and frustration of incessant worrying.

By solving the problem, I let my mind relax and focus. I become more efficient, and I start living a life that isn’t haunted with negative thoughts. If I have a particular concern that I cannot solve then and there, I write it down for later. This lets my mind relax. It feels confident that I will return to the problem, and it leaves me alone. I am left with a life of peace and productivity.

Questions of Reflection:

1. Are you worrying more than you need to?
2. Do you know how to get those thoughts out of your head?
3. Can you pick up the worry eliminating habits that make your life more productive.

Communication and Happiness

I open the door of peace and happiness with the key of love and communication.

The connections I build with other people have a great deal to do with my own sense of self-confidence and happiness. When I am confident in who I am, I am better able to step out of my shell and embrace the world. When I am unsure of myself, my relationships suffer.

Deep interpersonal relationships can be nurtured through honesty and openness.
No one really knows what is going on in my head, including myself sometimes. When they don’t understand what I am going through, our ability to relate and connect suffers. If I am feeling down, I should let my loved ones know. When they hurt my feelings, I should make it clear. They will appreciate the honesty, and will do what they can to make things better.

Find out what they are going through. Be supportive and understanding. Many times, people don’t really know what it is that they are going through. They need to talk about it. I can lend an ear. The two of us will come to understand each other on a deeper level.

Be open to honesty. Criticism can help me to see myself in a new light. Sometimes I am deaf to my own words and blind to my own actions. It’s only when others point them out that I can see myself in a new light.

Questions Of Reflection:

1. Am I open to others honest opinions?
2. Are my relationships based on and nourished by truthfulness?
3. Do I make an effort to communicate my feeling and seek out others?

Enjoy Every Moment

I enjoy every moment of my life.

I value every second that fills my life. Every day can only be lived one time and one time only. At the end of that day, it is over forever. We have a limited number of days, and I do my best to enjoy every one of them.

I see life for what it is.

Life is a series of moments. That is all. This includes pain, laughter, fear, anticipation, excitement, and joy. I am aware of this amazing gift that I have. I am grateful to be alive and breathing. Time is such a special thing, and this realization allows me to value the good and the bad. The precious moments of life are passing me by quickly, and I’m enjoying every second.

Life is filled with countless blessings. We have so many joys, from the joy of children, to a good conversation. Everything is special. We sometimes eat in a hurry and forget to taste. We are annoyed in traffic and forget to listen to the beautiful music and sounds. We forget to take in the scenery.

Understanding that life isn’t forever helps give life to each moment. We don’t know if we’ll have another. We certainly aren’t guaranteed another. This understanding and outlook can help us enjoy the time we have left on this planet.

Questions of Reflection:

1. Do I enjoy every second of the day?
2. Do I live every day with the full understanding of its importance?
3. How can I remind myself to sit back and smell the roses?
